I have loved this company ever since I was introduced to them a few years ago. I was thrilled when a short time later they were sending out items to review through the TOS Crew during my first voyage. I was just as excited this year to review something great from Beeyoutiful.
This year we were able to check out two items. Our family received Ow!-Ease, a salve made from arnica, beeswax and other ingredients. I wasn’t exactly “hoping” someone would get an owie, but I was hoping the next would be sooner rather than later. With a house full of six active children, it was only a matter of hours rather than days. We had the opportunity to try this healing aid on several bumps, bruises and sore muscles. It definitely helps lessen the ow. It’s hard to tell if the bruises healed faster, but I would say probably. Arnica has long been known and used for just this sort of thing.
What I like about the Ow!-Ease from Beeyoutiful is the applicator. I like using natural and herbal salves when we have them, I don’t like getting it all over me in the process of applying to someone else. The applicator for Ow!-Ease is similar to the container for lip balm. You pop of the cap, turn the dial at the bottom to raise the product (once it has been used enough to be below the top) and swipe it on. It glides on easily, no heavy pressure or rubbing needed. The smell is light and “herbal” as one daughter described it. The littlest ones in our family were daily trying to find a new owie to try it on. The price for one tube (1 oz size) is $15.00. If you buy greater quantities, the price goes down.
The other product we were sent is the brand new B.A.L.M. or Beeyoutiful All-natural Lip Moisturizer. Available in two “flavors” (though there isn’t really any taste) and made from a short list of natural ingredients, B.A.L.M. is not just another lip balm. The ingredients are grape seed oil, shea butter, beeswax, and orange or peppermint essential oil. We were sent the peppermint. I am not a big lover of peppermint but had no problems with this lip balm.
My tube of B.A.L.M. has been stashed away in my purse to ensure not being used on little lips (unless I put it on for them). It soothes my winter-dry lips and does not leave a greasy or waxy feel. There is no flavor, only the subtle minty smell. Your choice of orange or peppermint is available for $3.00. If you purchase 3, the price drops to $2.70 each.
