The feature that first brought me to this group in the beginning of our homeschool journey is the ID cards. They have a template to create a homeschooler’s ID for your students and/or yourself. You may print this yourself–all free. To have it professionally printed as a card (think drivers license quality) there is a small fee. Our state does not have any registering of homeschools. For those rare instances we have needed something to obtain student discounts, these worked wonderfully.
I love both abc teach and Homeschool Buyers Co-op and have shared about both in the past. I was especially motivated to post this today (instead of just thinking about it 😀 ) because of a contest they are holding to win an iPad. I recently received an iPod Touch and love how I can incorporate this into our school day and learning into very non-school days. I can see even bigger things for using an iPad. (Did you get that horrible attempt at a joke–iPad being bigger than an iPod?) Just wanted to disclose my ulterior motive.
