Andrew is the creator, writer, and illustrator of the Lost Sheep series. Way back in 1989 as a young Bible college student, Andrew was asked to give the dreaded childrens talk at a large church. Andrew possessed one talent: he could draw sheep. He bought some overhead projector sheets and drew up the story of Cecil and the Lost Sheep. T he congregation loved it, so Andrew continued to draw stories to use with kids and adults. Other students, pastors, and teachers started borrowing the stories.

My first FIRST! My children were excited when this (and another book from this series–watch for it!) arrived in the mail. Finally, something for them, again. They were immediately drawn to the bright colors and comic-style characters. We crowded snuggled on the couch to read. This is a story about the events of Mark 10:13-16. Other than some words/phrasing that seem like slang to me, this is very well written and fun. I like Cecil’s page at the back that gives a little outline to spark a conversation with your children. My purpose as my children’s mother is to help them have a relationship with the Lord. This book is a great tool to aid in my awesome task. I had thought about doing a giveaway for one of the two books received by this author, but we couldn’t decide which one we wanted to part with. Then someone bent the covers while loving on the books. You will have to buy your own now, sorry 😀
