Of course, my children’s favorite parts are the hands-on activities. We do one of these fun crafts on average three of the four days scheduled for this study. We have made masks, lanterns, yummy food and read some interesting stories. I’ll share a full review in the coming weeks as we finish up. For now, I wanted to give you all a peek into some of what we’ve done.
It was through Winter Promise that I first came to this short unit study on China. Today, there is a brand- new site to find these smaller units. Winter Promise is introducing a sister site, Spirited Autumn Hope! Winter Promise is still the place to find year-long studies for language arts, history, geography, science and more — all inspired by Charlotte Mason methods. If you have been intimidated by a year-long study, you can get to know Winter Promise curricula through one of the shorter studies available at Spirited Autumn Hope.
