As the second installment in the Stoney Ridge Seasons some questions are answered from the first. You could easily jump right in with this story without having read the first, The Keeper (but it’s great, you’ll want to read it, too!). The story begins with Sadie coming home to a lot of visitors at Windmill Farm.
There have been a lot of changes and there are going to be more. I don’t want to give things away, but there are some interesting twists and heartbreaking decisions. I know I’ve mentioned in other reviews how I enjoy Amish fiction but not those that are too romance heavy. This is another that fits my criteria (pickiness?) well.
I cannot wait to read the next installment in the Stoney Ridge Seasons. With this one ending with a marriage on the horizon, I am really looking forward to it! Be sure to check out the details below for entering the giveaway and participating in a live chat with the author, Suzanne Woods Fisher.
