Matthew West’s seventh album, All In, has just been released. We’ve been hearing tracks on the radio and have been looking forward to this new release. Matthew West is a family pleaser, we all enjoy his music. Who is “we”? The whole family, from Mama to the teens to the younger children, we enjoy listening on Air1. We were all pretty excited when the CD came in the mail (thanks FlyBy for this review opportunity). We’ve been hearing “Broken Things” for a while now. Singing along and really thinking about the lyrics is one of my favorite ways to enjoy Christian music.

Ok, now that you know the name of the songs, here are my thoughts on a few of them. Track 3, “Mercy Is a Song”, Jordan Feliz helped to write this one. I thought that was kinda cool. I really like Track 10, “Power Love Sound Mind”. It is a good reminder that through God, we got this and I really like that. One song on the album features someone special. If you did not know, Matthew West has two daughters and one of them is named Lulu. She is featured on the thirteenth track, “Becoming Me”. This is a good song to sing to your Mom for Mother’s Day; my sister might do this. Oh! And the hidden track is super fun and cute. Especially when you aren’t looking for it, this is the first full album of Matthew’s that we’ve listened to. We’ve talked about the songs but before you enter the giveaway or buy the album, let’s talk about the album cover. I really like the colors of it and the photo. Standing on the edge, not ready to just dip a toe into the water, but to go all in. A favorite part of mine, when you buy the physical album, you get the lyrics to all the songs. Sweet!

Wonderful giveaway and it was fun learning about a new Musician I can’t wait to share his music with my family.
Thanks for entering! He really is a great musician. Check out earlier albums, too. Matthew’s song “The Motions” is one of my all-time favorites.
