This is my second year participating and I have already found many new-to-me blogs. I even “know” some of those offering prizes for the giveaways. Thanks to blogging, the world is getting smaller. I love this easy way to grow community!
I am a homeschooling homesteading mama to six children. The lines are often blurred between homeschooling and homesteading and life. It all runs together and is our lifestyle. I find a lot of great ideas, encouragement and help through reading blogs. I hope to give back in the same way I have received – -that is my goal in blogging.
Some of my favorite things to share are recipes. I like cooking great food from scratch so that is what you will find in the recipes I share. One of our absolute favorites is cinnamon rolls. These are so rich we try to limit how often we make them, but so easy and quick it’s hard to say no.
I also love learning — oh and teaching — geography with food. I did a series sharing recipes along the way of some of our favorite ways to “
eat around the world“. Be sure to check them out for recipes from Germany, India and more.
I also love to read in my free time. Yes, I said free time. I have to make time to read before going to sleep. Sometimes it is only 5 minutes before I am nodding off. Other nights, I’ll be in the midst of such a great book, I’m up ’til all hours of the night.
