Welcome friends from the Ultimate Blog Party! This is the first time I have joined, though I have visited blogs of participants over the past couple of years.
I am Hillary, mama to 6 blessings. We have four girls and two boys from 11 down to 2. We live on a small farmstead where we try to make the most of every day. We have settled into a very ‘home’ based life. We homeschool, homestead, and homebirth. We are trying to learn and implement what we can to be self-sufficient.
Being mostly at home in a fairly rural setting (not as rural as some, but not suburban either) I would feel lonely (though surrounded by my children and a menagerie of animals). Nobody I knew led a life like ours. I found friends through the blogosphere and my whole world has expanded. I am encouraged, inspired and educated by where the mouse clicks bring me. I hope to give just a tiny bit of what I have received back to the community.
I love to do giveaways and product reviews. I share recipes and more as I find make the time. I hope you’ll become a frequent visitor. I have a couple of giveaways lined up — one is starting tomorrow. I’ll also be taking part in a blog hop with my TOS Homeschool Crew friends in May.
