I often like books that are from the Young Adult market. They are usually cleaner, have less romance and are quick reads. With the frequent interruptions that are common here, I need an easy read. In some ways this book was not quite what I was expecting. It is definitely targeted to teenage girls–which I have not been for a few days (grin). The beginning had me unsure if I was young enough to read it. The story is quite thrilling once the action starts. I am really glad I stuck with the story and finished. This is the third book in this series and I have not read the earlier ones. Despite this, I had no problem enjoying this book.
